Overview

jameda does have two main areas:
1. The marketplace where patients can find the best matching doctors for their need, book appointments, read and leave reviews after their visit.

2. A SaaS product consisting of an extremely powerful calendar that helps doctors and clinics manage their patient appointments and optimize the processes within their practice making them more efficient.

As a UX Designer for jameda I have been working on projects for the SaaS product developing new features for the calendar as well as iterating and improving already implemented features. The goal is to make the calendar fit the needs of practices and clinics by offering a solution that makes all processes within the practice smoother and more efficient so that they are able to cope with the big amount of patients they need to handle every day. Having better processes within the practice means more time to take care of the patients, lower stress levels among the whole team as well as a higher profitability. Although the calendar seems to be quite simple at first sight it does have many incredibly powerful features.

Work within the team

As a UX- Designer I am in charge of all features for the SaaS (Desktop version and App).
I am involved in all stages of the design process. Defining research topics, taking part in research sessions, creating and redefining user personas, working on the problem definition, defining possible solutions, creating user flows, prototypes and final designs is all part of the process as well as challenging the ideas and prototypes with other designers. I have been working within two agile Teams. Close collaboration as well as challenging the ideas within the team, an early exchange of ideas with the devs to xxx the feasibility of the proposed solutions is part of the working process.

• Features to integrate patient management system with the jameda calendar
• Improvement of free slot search
• Implement current jameda features in new docplanner system
